1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the WebColorNote application, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms. This is a local-only utility tool designed to help you construct, parse, and edit markdown items.
2. "As-Is" Service & Liability
WebColorNote is provided strictly on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. The developers hold zero liability for data loss, service interruptions, or compromised encryption vaults. It is solely your responsibility to perform regular manual document exports (as ZIP or JSON backups).
3. Encryption Vault Responsibility
When enabling local vault encryption, your browser derives an cryptographic key directly from your master password using **AES-256-GCM**. We have no database containing recovery tokens. If you forget your master password, your encrypted files are permanently lost.
4. Google Integration
Synchronization utilizes Google APIs. You must comply with all standard Google terms and ensure that you keep your OAuth connections secure and intact.
5. Subscriptions & Billing
Upgrading to the Pro version unlocks features like unlimited notes. Payment processing is managed entirely by third-party billing networks (Stripe). Subscriptions can be canceled at any time through our payment manager interface. All subscription upgrades are strictly non-refundable.
